1. Student Recruitment

      a. Training Program

• FCAW Welding (E-7-3 Visa Category)

       b. Admission Requirements

Age Requirement:

• Under 35 years old (from 20 to 35 years of age; born between January 1, 1991 and December 31, 2006)

Mandatory Conditions

• Possession of FCAW 3G/4G welding certification and a minimum of 2 years of welding experience
  ※ Applicable to internationally recognized certificates such as AWS, ASME, ISO, ABS, DNV-GL/KR, etc.
• Korean language proficiency at TOPIK Level 1 or above, or completion of a Korean language training course
  ※ Accepted certificates: TOPIK, KLAT, KBSKLT Level 1, EPS-TOPIK Level 2, SKA (basic level or above)
  ※ Korean language training completed at King Sejong Institute, universities, or programs organized by KPAL
  ※ In cases where only a certificate of course completion is available, a mock TOPIK test will be conducted during the interview process
• No criminal record or administrative violations punishable by fines or higher
• No immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, spouse) residing illegally in the Republic of Korea

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the shipbuilding industry
• Korean language proficiency at TOPIK Level 2 or higher

      c. Required Documents

• Application form, personal statement, and letter of commitment
• Copy of Citizen Identification Card or Passport
• Copies of professional certificates and proof of work experience
• Military service confirmation (if applicable)
• Two (02) recent passport-sized photos (3.5 × 4.5 cm, taken within the last 3 months)
• Medical examination certificate including tests for hepatitis, tuberculosis, drugs, eyesight, and hearing
  (issued by a provincial general hospital or equivalent medical institution)
• Korean language certificate or certificate of completion of Korean language training

Accepted Korean Language Certificates:

• TOPIK (EPS), KLAT, SKA, KBSKLT

Accepted Korean Language Training Providers:

• King Sejong Institute, Universities, Non-formal education institutions, KPAL

※ No validity period limitation for certificates
